So far this week I have purchased a complete windshield ($1500)

Head unit 4 speakers and a new sub( all polk speakers, clarion head unit) $600 amazon has amazing prices

Im planning on spending 900$ at wakemakers on 3 new ballast pumps and 2-750# and one center ski locker bag

I am also planning on ordering a new cover from skiboatcovers.com (top gun 585$)

Also I have to pay and pick up the boat from a complete upholstery job 2K

This is all on my 2002 xstar/ X1

Oh Man. Now I feel like a big A-Hole! LOL. I think I have all of you beat:

2008 MC X-15
Boat + Warranty + Tax + Trailer + Title = $59,000

Slip on Lake w/HydroHoist Lift = $3113 one time charge for 1 year

Insurance = $550

Stereo Additions / Audio Labor Work = $2650 (Adding another battery, changing out the CD Deck and the wireless remotes around the boat all to Alpine, Adding another AMP w/2 - 10" subs along with a few other small things)

Lifevests / New Wakeboard Rope / New Wakeboard Handle / Cleaning Supplies and all the other small BS I am probably leaving out = $555

Grand Total = $65,868

Yuck. Now I wish I hadn't posted that. I had temporarily forgot how much cash I've dropped in the past 6 days.

...............I need to get on the lake TOday! hah

sounds like we all have support the economy this year... new X-25, New slip at the lake, New Hydrohoist, and all new gear since our old did not "match" the boat (wife's idea).

Oh and Yatch club dues... I will be glad when this month is over.

$125k spent... 30 minutes water time.

Yeah, if not for Captain James T. Kirk of the Starship Enterprise I would not have scored the sweet deal from Hotwire!

Where are you staying? We got a nice loft overlooking the court yard.

I spent 7.47 at dairy Queen

Hungerbuster Combo

Jalapenos

Cheese...........

Went from 5.99 for the Combo to well over seven with just the cheese and jalapeno upgrade, I thought that was pricey for the bling.

How many bad strip club stories have you heard? Hmmm possible new thread topic? It was a good time at least until the wife figures out how much I spent.

25k X1 sounds like a deal.

Well the boat has high amount of hours (according to some) at 800hrs. But to me, thats is nothing, my last boat had 1500 hours in salt water.

Basically we walked out the door $25k lighter in the pockets with:

2006 X1
MCX motor (full service done, belt, distributor cap, flushed, belt, plugs, impeller etc...)
3 new ballast pumps with green impeller
Bimini
Board racks
Cover
Clarion headunit + 4 JL speakers + Driver remote
Single Axle Trailer
Fat sacs instead of hard tanks
Perfect Pass
Fiberglass platform

She needs a little work on the inside, and more than likely will get the "seat" part of the wrap around re done (they have small cracks). The cover needed to be re stitched up. Some electrical issues here and there. But overall im super happy with the boat.

Well you'd be in for $35k min for a lower hr X1 and you got the MCX and PP, new pumps, upgraded ballast. You did alright. Even if it costs a couple thousand to get everything in order, you're still in the 01-03 xstar/x2 price range. Where's the pictures?

I think you got a good deal on your boat and I think good deals are out there. We just bought a 2007 X1 with only 200 hrs and it has the upgraded motor and the tandem axle trailer. The only thing itís missing is the Perfect Pass and driver remote; both are slated to get installed ASAP!! Oh we paid $30K and are lucky becuase there is no sales tax in Montana.

Wow some of you have spent some coin! I'm in for a little over 1k in replacement and maintenance parts this year. Exhaust and risers, steering cable were the big ones...but all the little stuff adds up quick. Time however...has been a big cost. Glad I started in march, I'm almost done wih all of the work and the season for me won't start for a few more weeks.

to add to the list just bought a new sunbrella cover from skiboatcovers.com

also bought 3 new ballast pumps and 2 750# ballast bags for the rear ski locker.

I think im done with the outragous shopping spree.... at least I hope...

That's a nice looking boat. My boat def needed some TLC before it was ready. Have you upgraded your ballast yet?
