just thought Id let yall know I will be asking lots of wiring questions here in the future. As I am capable of doing so I just dont know about all the instrument and dash wires. As they were all tore up when the mother f&^$#ers tore out the CB Radio. Heres some good pics for yall. I was running 3 batteries. 3 amps. 2 12" 1 10" subs. Its gonna be a fun long work process.

Sorry your stuff got jacked. Have you got the new components planned out yet? How has the insurance been treating you? Good luck. If it was me and I had to start from scratch I would put in LED's while I was at it.

That bites, but look at the bright side, you now can replace it with a new JL system

funny thing is i just spent the last 3 monthes installing leds. 2 colors. and all the subs besides the stock clarion 10 were JL. Insurance has been good and hopefully will cover costs but the install is not what I wanted to do as time is hard to come by with oilfeild work being so hectic. FYI if you have a nice system one thing to do is note your s/n's or make your own #s on your components that way in case they get stolen you can have something for the police to track to pawn shops. I will be doing this on all the new stuff.

Also whats a good three battery setup or should i just stick to 2? The boat had 3 batteries when I got it but was thinking 2 should be good right?? any help here is much appreciated. Plan on having 3 amps. 1 for 2 12" subs, 1 for cabin and 1 for 6 6.5 kicker tower spks. will one battery be enough to push all amps? or should i wire 2 batterys parrallel work sound and 1 for starting.

I had an old and very cheap amp stolen out of my '91 Prostar. The boat was parked at my apartment complex in Hot Springs, Ar. I left for work early one morning and saw the boat cover pulled open. I looked inside the boat and found a flashlight that was still on that they had left in the boat. They didn't bother anything else. The funny thing is that the amp was fried and didn't work!! Ha Ha.
