Need a recommendation to replace my factory prop on my 06 X2.

I do a mix of surfing, wakeboarding and skiing/tubing for kids.
I run all the factory ballast plus have the Fly high add ons in the rear lockers and in the bow as well as an extra 400# sac for surf side if surfing. What is going to get me a good hole shot and move this weight?

I am not huge on cruising around at top end so not too worried about that.
Is the 14.25 x 14.5 OJ prop a good replacement? Best place to buy and cost?

Thanks!
Jake

Stock these days is 14.75x15.5...

What engine do you have?

That's most likely too much prop for the amount of ballast Jake is running.

You have two options; the OJ 477 (http://www.wakeprops.com/oj-477-propeller.html) if you want to maintain a little more top end, or the OJ 470 (http://www.wakeprops.com/oj-470-propeller.html) if you want maximum holeshot and speed holding.

Let me know if you want to give both of them a try so you can see how they compare for how you actually use the boat.

Thanks Jason, I think the 477 may do the trick.

Your 06 x2 has alot more wetted surface than my 05 x2, but I have the 477 and love it. Almost too much holeshot... Almost...

That's what I would run if it were my boat.

I have a stock prop repitched to a 15 on my 06 X2. So that makes it a 13.7 x 15. It has excellent holeshot. I would be interested in your stock prop in trade for the one I have. I also have a 14.25 x 14 that I just had resurfaced if that might work for you. I would be isterested in trading either one.
