Wanting to get some opinions on boat lifts, what you have and about what you paid. I am thinking about the craftlander 4500 available on ebay for $2640. I have a 2007 X2. I believe this is more than enough lift for my boat. I am wondering if thats a good price. Or if anyone has a used one.

Purchased a flat bottom cradle shorestation last year at this time cleaned it up a bit with a wire wheel and replaced bolts to stainless. Paid $900 for 3600#. Found a canopy this year to fit for $600 not too bad for complete set up at $1,500. I have a PS 205 and it does just fine.

I am curious as well.. I couldn't find a used Hydrohoist in my price range. I am actually having a dock builder build me a custom (not name brand) lift for less than a used Hydrohoist. Same premise as a hydrohoist just not as expensive. It will lift 6,000# so it will be perfect even if I choose to upgrade my boat in the very distant future.

You may want to see if there are any dock installers in your area. I know a guy that does this as a side business and is always making deals with people buying new and looking to move used lifts. When I upgraded to my 07 X2 he was able to get me a 3 year old 4000lb Shorestation. I paid $1000 plus my 18 year old 3000lb Shorestation. I did have to re carpet the side guide bunks.
