Hey all, I am looking for some help locating and replacing my Bilge Pump. Anyone have any pics. and any info on how hard it is to replace a bilge pump? Any other things to look for before replacing? Where is the best place to buy one? Anyone have a part number?

In my X9 it has a Rule 750 gph pump hard wired. But before you buy a new pump, are you sure it needs to be replaced? Does it turn on? It takes a lot of water in the hull for it to automatically come on.
To test it, unclip the unit from its base and turn it upside down - this will activate the float mechanism. Make sure there is power going to it. If it's not pumping water out of the hull, make sure the little wire screen is free of debris.

It is installed right in front of the engine. On my 03 it looks like this...

I just replaced both of mine. The new Rule 750's are a little different shape, and have a different blue cage to fasten to the hull. The good news is the 4 screw pattern on old and new are the same.

Thanks all. No I am not sure it needs to be replaced other than when I turn it on it does not run. As I understand it there is the manual setting and the automatic setting. When switched manually it should turn on, right? Are there any fuses or relays that could be causing it to not turn on?

Turn the switch to on, disconnect it from the hull, and turn it upside down. It will come on. If not it will need to be replaced.
