Hey all,

I've made reference to posting phone numbers in open forums before, probably not in the best manner. But, my intention is to make sure people know that just like harvesting email address there is also software out there just for the purpose of harvesting phone numbers that end up being sold to phone market list.

This is just one example.

Sometimes you can get lucky with trying to mask the numbers with a combination of letter numbers IE

1 seven 0 six ... 4 four four ... 9 eight seven 1.

More often then not you are better of PMing numbers to people because bots do not have access to PMs therefor cannot harvest.

Just information for ya.

Yeah, I'm just not a fan of putting any personal information on the internet especially a phone number. there are probably companies out there that search for numbers on the internet to then do sales calls. I'm heading toward retirement and don't like to be bothered. Just me and my dogs. That's all I need.
