Anybody out there wakeboarding in or around Pittsburgh this summer? Would like to meet up with a group whether its in Pittsburgh, Ohio, or around Deep Creek. Let me know if anyone has plans this summer.

What side of Pittsburgh are you on? We're from Ohio, we ski in Ohio on a lake about 80 miles from the Pittsburgh airport. There is no reason to come that far and I am sure there are plenty of places to ski over there and people will speak up.

I did want to tell you Welcome to Team Talk and that we had a MC reunion last year in Columbus that may or may not interest you. This year is scheduled for August 20th. You can see some information here:

Nice boat! I am not a V-Drive fan but that boat looks nasty!!

NJD, are you going out anytime soon? I'm dropping in this weekend, to test drive with a buyer. I'm might jump in for a pull.

Soon for sure, maybe in a week or so. Best of luck with the buyer this weekend, hope it goes well. Keep in touch for pulls down my way this spring.

Shoot a PM to MarkP. He is a long time board member and lives in the Pittsburgh area.

What part of Pittsburgh are you at?

We normally ride near downtown on the Mon River. Unfortunately the boat ramp is a little flooded right now due to all of the rain.

There are lots of good areas on the upper Allegheny, however finding a good public ramp can be a problem.

bjw444, cool. I think my buddy Paul rides down near there. He just bought a red Xstar, and before that he had a red malibu direct drive with really loud tower speakers.

If you ever make it up near downtown, let me know. We are also trying to organize a meetup, maybe at Summersville Lake, this summer.

Thanks for the invite, but the water at Raystown is not worth the drive. If I head out there it will be to mountain bike. There are some amazing trails.

Ya i feel ya there arnt too many lakes around that you can stay lakefront unless its deep creek and thats like being in the bearing(sp?) sea. We rented a house and will have a few boats there and lots of booze haha
