Ok hello everyone I have a 1993 prostar 190 w/ single axle trailer. I am trying to remove my drum on the passenger side so I can replace my brake cylinder. I have tried reading threads and am still lost I have removed wheel bearing buddy retaining clip and spring not sure what to do next and could really use some help toward the right direction. I am very mechanically skilled and gave replaced all kinds if brakes but never boat trailer hydraulic drum brakes.

You may be able to get to the axle nut through the Bearing Buddy, but I'm not sure. If you've removed the clip and the spring, the center of the Bearing Buddy should come out.
The normal way of doing this is to remove the entire bearing buddy - use a rubber mallet (or a hammer and a protective piece of wood) to knock the buddy one way and then the other, "walking" (http://www.bearingbuddy.com/faqs.htm#6) the bearing buddy out of the bore in the hub. After you get it out, you'll be faced with a normal cotter pin, nut retainer, nut, washer, and bearings. Remove the cotter pin, washer, and outer bearing, and the drum should come right off.

What brake cylinder are you trying to replace? You can either replace the drum or backling plate. I did mine I just replaced the whole backing plate it came with pads and everything ready to go.
I think what you need to do is, behind where the bearing buddy was there is a cotter pin and nut. clean the grease out pull the cotter pin and remove the nut, that should remove the plate where you bolt the wheel on. Once that is removed you can access the bolts attaching the backing plate to the trailer.
I bought new backing plates ready to install from these guys they were very helpful, in expensive and shipped quick.

Also I had to replace the master cylinder in the actuator. I ordered that from

Shoot me a PM if you have any questions.

Thanks i pulled the bearing out and got the hub assembly off and inspected pads. Unfortunately for me the wheel cylinder had been leaking for oh hell lets say the past 15 years just to be nice. the pads had 3" of fluid and dirt built up on them and backing plate my adjuster star was seized shut and of two springs rusted in 1/2. Oh yeah got to love my life. So bought new wheel cylinder, springs, adjuster, and shoes, oh yeah and brake line because i snapped it off getting the wheel cylinder off to inspect if i could rebuild it. But you cant find rebuild kits So everything is new.
