Advice on my next Master Craft

I am looking for the best wakeboarding MC for under 30K. I currently have a 1994 Prostar 205 set up for wakeboarding(tower, fat sack, and rear sundeck to hold a waterbed mattress) and I am looking to upgrade. After owning this boat I am not even looking at other brands.


It looks like the 2000 or 2001 X-star would be my best choice (possibly the X-10) The main reason I am looking to upgrade is for a better wake. I have not boarded behind either of these boats so I appreciate any advice or suggestions.

The alder X-Star's are definitely your best bet. You will just have to keep looking for the right one. The '01 models are still selling for mid 30's. Not sure about 00's. The '01's have the 3 pc rear sundeck, nicer tower, and 3 tank KGB system. Good luck with your search, it will be worth it.

The X-Star became the X-2 in 2003(?). Exact same boat, exact same wake. This is when the picklefork boat was unveiled and took the X-Star name.

I would think you hit it right on the head. Sounds like what you need is the 2001 X10

What is the difference between the 2000/01 X-star and the 2000/2001 X-10?
