I had a ex-mechanic who worked for me remove my exhaust manifolds. This chimp put a rusty exhaust gasket on a white cushion. I now have a rust stain that I can't remove. I have tried bleach and simple green. Does anyone have a suggestion. THANKS

You might want to try "Super Iron Out" made by Diamond Crystal. I use it in my water softener, and pool. I've also removed rust stains from concrete by mixing a paste and working it in with a scrub brush. I've never used it on vinyl, but it may be worth a try. I get mine at hardware stores, and also at Sam,s Warehouse Club. I hope this helps!

CLR? Not sure if it is safe to use on vinyl, but it's pretty good at removing rust stains.

We use this on steel hull shrimp boats all the time. You can dilute it with water and put it in a spray bottle. Be sure to use rubber gloves too, it burns like you know what!

Try that orange pumas mechanic hand soap.

Use a wet sponge and just put a blob of that hand cleaner on the stain. Once the stain is out use some 303 on it.

Trust me, ospho is spray on and rust immediately disappears. NO ELBOW grease needed. It's amazing stuff. It says on their website that you should be able to find it at ACE Hardware.

Any ideas on removing this stain? I have tried 303, magic eraser, warm water with lemon juice. Thinking about CLR, but worried it may damage the vinyl.
