The Imjin river is not in downtown Seoul. The Imjin river is about 3 miles from the MDL. It is just north Imjin-gak located on the boundry of Camp Greaves. If you had water skied on the Imjin there is a 100% chance you would have been "engaged" by either the South Koreans or the Americans. When I was there I used to standing the top of fighting position and try to drive golf balls acrossed the river. Never made it.

The very large river in the south is the Han River and the boats are dock by the Hannam Bridge.
