hdr600 INSTALLATION ON 94 205

I went to install my Humminbird hdr600 on my 205 in the clock position but was surprised to find many wires coming out the back of the clock. Anyone know how I should rewire.

Take the wires off the clock and tape each one up seperately, you will not use them again.

I just installed a depth finder in my 205 and wired the power leads (2, one for power and one for the light) to the key switch. Use a test light or volt meter to check for power in the "key on" position and connect to that termimal. Find a useable ground for the ground wire.

I wired mine like this so it would only work with the key one, you could also wire it to one of the acc swithes but that is one more thing to make sure you turn on when launching and turn off when done.
