You and 17 friends! I've been one one ... They are huge ... Especially when it's out surfing and you're trying to barefoot ... We almost went airborne

Ours ships Monday to Utah! I am wearing a diaper full time because I wet myself every time I think about that boat getting closer to me.

I just got this hog to load. Why is everyone so stiff in the video. Dosen't look like anyone is having fun and if the vessel is rated for 18 why only show 7? Pack that thing full lets see it loaded.

It be cool if a buddy owned it, I'm still a puristy and think PS190 all the way...maybe the 197 if I plan on having more than 2 kids...

18!!!! Holy Cow!! What is that thing a 30 footer. I've got a friend with a 28' pontoon it won't hold that many. It is an awesome looking boat. Just have to know, whats MSRP on it?

18 people in it would make one h*lluva board wake though.

I like the X55 a lot. I just don't need a head and sink on a day boat. I'm sure my wife would be happy about the head, I'm not changing her black water for nothing. I burned poo for too long in the Army, it's someone else's turn now.

But I'd dig a nice surf wake, tons of room. My daughter will turn 15 this summer and after her school friends found out her dad has a boat they all want to join her on the weekends. I'm ok with that. It lets me keep her another year and I'm sure I don't have many left until she finds boys and other things that are more fun then old dad.

I'll tell this much. I'm on my second MC and both boats were bought used. I'm really tired of picking up after the first owner so the next boat will be new, from a dealer. After that point I can only blame myself.

I'd guess around $105 as a base before options.

Head is removable as someone else mentioned.

Well-said. I guess any toy can be justified/rationalized somehow, someway. Lord knows I've done it a time or two. "Really, honey, the kids will love it...."

We got the X55 for many reasons….

1. Wanted the best build boat, so went with MasterCraft.
2. We have a large family, 6 kids, 2 labs, and Mom and Dad, need the room for everyone to relax and not kill each other.
3. Power! MasterCraft gives you the options for plenty of power, other brands not so much.
4. Safety! Prop is under the boat, makes me feel better and makes Mama feel better when the kids are surfing!
5. Plenty of storage space for the long trips to Powell.
6. Killer Sound System! I mean Killer. We added two extra cans on the tower.
7. The people at Utah MasteCraft are just awesome, truly great people that care about our experience.
8. Research, looking at this site, and talking to other MasterCraft owners.

These are just some of the reasons I could think of quickly….
