What an awesome engine 8p the 6.0L Ilmor
At my lake which is at 6000 ft. elavation.
With a 12X 13 heavy cup 3 blade boat ran a top speed of 45mph @5500 rpm
run 4100 to pull 36
3750 at 34.2
changed prop to a 13.25 X15 with 0.090 cup 4 blade
ran a top speed of 44.3 at 5000 rpm
36 @ 3750 rpm
34.2 @ 3475 rpm
32.2 @ 3225
I'm sticking with the 13.25 X15
If you are a Footer this is the engine for you
Very snappy and rev's faster than any Indmar I have ever had!

Nope, you still have the option of an Indmar in all of the boats for the current model year.

Aren't they going to Ilmor only in 2012 other then one specific model?

It is a 6.0L Ilmor
The chip must be somewhere in 5650 - 5700 rpm range Chris at Ilmor will not tell me for sure where it is. The one I drove last fall ran up to almost 5900.
We the TT guys all had the option to buy a Indmar or a Ilmor alot of ordered the Ilmor beacause it will the stock in 12 and for the resale of it.
FYI that speed and rpm were if 28 gallons of fuel in it.

This great to hear. I too ordered the 6.0 and have about another month and a few days until mine shows up. Really looking forward to it. This engine sounds like its going to be a winner with all the cool advancements and ease of maintenance.

Lets see some pictures!

Yes skis just like all the others I have had. The wake is softer due to the new bullet strut.
