I believe history in the making! Will Lance win #7? I watch every day, and have for many years, really incredible his domination.

http://www.letour.fr/2005/TDF/LIVE/us/1500/index.html

Was especially great today as they were confident enough to let a team member win! Way to go Hincapie! I still feel bad for Jan as he would have won several Tour's if he had not had to compete against Lance.

I think it would be more fun to watch if the race organizers gave the riders a bag of tricks to use when strategy calls for a move, like maybe a bag of tacks, or a can of oil. Maybe a slingshot or a taser. Give some of them a golfclub, some might get a banana peel. Others could get elbow pads and mix it up Roller Derby style.
Until then, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Oh, my bad. I meant to say the Tour is compelling viewing and all the chicks on SS are world-class.

There will be no further posts which might offend men who enjoy seeing other men pedal around in very close proximity wearing tight little shorts and tight little shirts, OK.
I really didn't mean to upset you if watching guys ride bikes is your thing. It's just not mine.
God bless America.

Red ….hummmmm?

The Tour de France more than “seeing other men pedal around in very close proximity wearing tight little shorts and tight little shirts”
it is 2200+ miles in 20 days
At speeds at 20 to 30+ mph 100+ miles a day, back to back with very little rest
If You Don’t like the Tour de France
you have full right to say it and leave it at that…….
IMHO I don’t think you need to call me “gay” because I like watching
The Tour de France …………………………

A little defensive there, aren't you, Rex? I don't think I called you anything. If you like watching, by all means...not that there's anything wrong with that.

Red…. No, I am very comfortable with my sex life, whatever it is?
But TT may not be the place for it?

I would be MORE than happy to talk to you more about this,
Send me a PM with your questions?? And we can talk…………..

The tour has been great and really went crazy today! The leader Rasmussen is out due to missing blood tests and his team fired him, and now Discovery rider Contrador will be in the lead! I would love to see Team Discovery win again!

Riders are protesting becuase of other doping allegations?

This thing is getting ugly very fast, they are considering cancelling the event? Is this true?

Leroy
07-26-2007, 09:36 AM
That is all just press speculation. It is amazing to see the 1st place rider get fired. This is good for Team Discovery!

It has been a good Tour this year; each day has been a fight with the top 5
For days now

It is sad drugs/ blood doping and crashes, have taken the front pages again….

Looks like DSC are going to do it!!!!!! I would like Levi take it all!!!!
But that will not happen with his teammate in first, and he is 2:49 back, in 3rd:rolleyes:

Team Discover came in first and third (Lance's team). Contador is 24 and his first tour. Another great showing for American sponsor Discovery Channel. He was 23 seconds ahear of Evans and 31 seconds ahead of Levi.

For you Bob, Lance was there the whole time and was in the support car for Contador on the final leg.

My son and I watched the racers come through our town during the tour of California. We stood at the top of one of the climbs(interesting experience). Being a mountain bike rider it's amazing the speed those guys are climbing hills.
