View Full Version : Looking at 2000 205 Sammy for Sister-in-Law

She found this 205 here locally but it sure seems expensive to me ($24,500). I know it's a Sammy Duvall (signed) but still not worth it. I'm thinking closer to $20k or $21k.

Any thoughts?

He said the interior stitching is in great shape but have not seen pics yet.

Oh, and if you are in the area.....don't step in and take it now! :D:rolleyes:

Nice boat, but I tend to agree that the price, even with a tower, is a bit high.

Used boat pricing was and is going up. We have seen a 20% increase over two quarters ago and nice used boats. The market is turning and book wise that price is not out of the question. Again it is a starting point as he probably expects to get $22kish. If it is as clean as it states, it is worth it. Abused beat up ones are in the mid to high teens without the LTR or tower.

Yea, it doesn't appear to be the best looking tower (aka. New Dimensions).

I am assuming it's winterized but maybe we're lucky. Waiting to hear back from him.

She also wants to put in Perfect Pass. I would think the basic 6.5ng is adequate. She is widowed with 4 kids so it needs to be pretty reliable (I don't live in the same state to help her out).
