Do you mind sharing the price you got (via PM if you prefer)? I'm putting my X-1 up for sale this month and curious about real world prices.

33,000..... I had offers as low as 30k. There was a ton of interest in the boat, you should have no problem selling yours.

Good to know. I'm going to be asking a fair bit less than that, so hopefully it'll sell.

Begs the question ( not that it's any of my business, but you did post it on the inner web!), why sell a sweet $33k V drive tow boat to look for a $20-30k v drive tow boat?

I bought the boat when I was getting out of the Army.....I'm not making as much now as I was when I was in so.......gotta downgrade a little.

Had that same thought. I have thought about selling my X1 to buy JohnE's X14 but that's because I am slaloming a little more than boarding right now.

Anything less than a Mastercraft will cost you out the nose, depreciation and cost of upkeep, so.... I guess you might as well figure on the same amount of expenditures as before or perhaps a little more

That makes me wonder what I could get for my '06 X2. I really need to down grade to something in the $15-$20k range.

Here's a couple pics of mine. First is when it had 25 hours on it, second is our last weekend out last year (Shasta Lake) at about 100 hours. It is listing a bit to the left because the left rear ballast was full for surfing.

Sorry, for some reason the pics are coming up reallly low res. Boat looks sharper than that...

what are the details?

Don't want to totally thread jack his thread here... It'll be up in Market this weekend but it's got about 100 hours (95-105, can't remember), RTP-1, swivel racks, 2 speakers/lights, 2 platforms, triple ballast, depth, cockpit remote, JL M4350 amp, tandem trailer with the metal oil bath caps, etc. Just had 100 hour service. All fresh water use and stored indoors. Great condition, only marks at all are on the transom and I've just never tried to buff them out.

Love the boat and wouldn't sell it if it were up to me, but it turns out that I love boating more than the rest of my family and it's no fun doing it alone!

wow, someone's going to get a heck of a boat and at a great price (imo). anxious to see, but i bet you have no problem selling that and quickly. timing's right, boat is right and it's priced aggressively. if that boat was for sale up here, it would be gone in a week i bet.

Yeah, the one Coz showed doesn't have swivel racks. I upgraded to those on my X1. I have the 06 all white. Great Hull.

Where/how did you advertise??

As has been stated many times before, the geographic location has a lot to do the price but that is a great price on your boat.

I have a 07 X1 (RTP, Swivel, Tower Speakers/Amp, Stock Ballast, MC Cruise, single axle, bimini, cover, etc) with close to 80 hours and have been told I should get mid-30's for it and I am located in the South. It is in great condition and has always been stored indoors.

Of course, she does not have a For Sale Sign on it and thus no offers have be made so the price is hypothetical. I would probably sell if for $35K if someone wanted it bad but plan on keeping it for another year or two.
