Hi-

Just replaced the head unit in my 2000 Maristar 230V with a Kenwood KMR-700u. Like the unit so far but the hole in my dash is waaaay too big (you'd think I would have taken this into consideration before ordering - oh well).

I read in another post where someone replaced theirs with an alpine and got a Clarion Adapter plate to fill the bill.

I was considering making my own but if there is such an animal commercially available, could someone help me out with a part number and / or source. My initial blush at a search didn't provide any concrete answers so hoping someone else has encountered this and can offer some help.

Many Thanks!

Yeah, I'm not sure who cuts the holes for the head units but mine was probably a good 2 inches to large.

I made a custom stainless steel plate for mine. I try to get a photo of it today so you can check it out. If you have a cut off wheel and some flapper disc it would be pretty easy for you to do the same.
