well, well, george i knew you were in the shallow water and weeds. good to hear from you, doing ok i see? but remember being on the dark side and staying in a holiday inn express for a night wont make you a mc owner again,it takes the "real thing", and you know that. did you proud at 2005 east coast reunion at norris lake above knoxville. bos, dont you know !
you were right ken 11168, he was the one you said he was. we just need to put out the bait and get him back in the corral. think the free continental breakfast at hi express would do it?

If you want to know how to make something look good this is the man to ask. We could do a topic " Ask Herald" :worthy: :worthy: :worthy:

I think they've pictured it since then, but the one place I know you can see Herold's rig (1989 PS 190 and 88 Chevy Astro) is in Water Ski Magazine, March 1995, page 104. Half page spread entitled "Details, Details: How to Set up Your Own Rig."
Impressive! :worthy:

sorry about all the duplication. i'm new to this , just have today to play till later. guess i'll have buy a new computer instead of putting gas in the boat for a couple weeks. my expertise is in detailed boats and correctly spelled women.

It's sad that we can now pay for a computer with what it costs to put gas in the boat for a couple of weeks.

There is a shot of it in the water in the east coast reunion pics this year. Say hi to ken, looking forward to pictures on his project boat.

done been did, for 16 years and pulling farther ahead. you dont have to abuse it to use it , ya just gotta love it like a nempho who won't let ya stop pushing her throttle. see east coast pics of it in the water, i'm the one with the santa hat on to stay cool, no one ever said i was mentally stable, just that i owned a mastercraft.
remember, its not how money ya got, how good looking ya are, or the kind of equipment ya have, its how hard ya hammer down and make her scream.
this is fun, harold

thanks for the kind words, as i said, for 16 yrs i've been doing a clinic at the reunions by showing in the boat judging and you know how hard it is for people to believe. example, finishing a swim platform. you, ken and a few others know, but most think it,s a joke, laugh and walk away, saying yea right.
patience and dedication in a small amount of spare time[15 min/wk] will do wonders. but, as you know most people are behind before they start making their first boat payment. when was ths last time you say a new $50,000 mustang convert. in the driveway, with the top down, tires on the curb, getting rained on and in. why do it to ya boat!

it's been fun, but,the day is slowly coming to a end, our daughter is feeling better after minor surgery and we will shortly go home. it's 93 w/94% humidity here and just about to hot to boat, so i may go computer shopping. if anyone wants to reach me till i cyber boat again just ask anyone for our phone no. love to talk about the best watersports boat built. its because of the product, owners, factory personel that keeps us so enthused, cause nothing else even comes close!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, after reading the first few posts, I decided to look at the dates in the thread. Then it made sense. Not a lot of guys posting 4500 posts a year. And his computer didn't work well for the first 6 months.

Things seem to have become a little livelier since this thread started.
Also, the appearance of our teak has gotten much better.

I joined on our daughters computer 60 miles away and only got on once in 6 mos., till we got our own new working computer 6 mos. later @ Xmas.
I do the same thing now I did back 2 years ago, not just as much of it.

I hated computers, but G-man and kas among others kept at me to get a new one and come on here. That first post just shows how scared to death I was and my lack of computer experience, not that it has changed much!
