our X2 sits on a 2008 trailer but whilst looking at newer X2's, I came across the picture of a 2010 trailer...... with a small step so that you can get onto the boat/platform easier.

does anyone have a 2010 trailer..... I assume they are a factory fit? are they metal or fibreglass like the mudguards?
they look a great idea and certainly worthwhile looking at getting a pair..... the old back ain't what it used to be!

We have a 2010 trailer. They are plate steel welded together.. and I must say are very strong as our trailer was T-boned at the boat ramp directly on the left rear little step by a Dodge Ram and only sustained scratches.

This is one of my favorite features of the trailer. There is a little step on the winch post also to get in the bow that is very helpful.

My only complaint is I like the 2011 spare tire "rack" better than our 2010.. I always feel like it will get caught on something.

thanks eric2010mcx2 - will give mastercraft a call and see if I can get me two of them - a great idea without a doubt.... getting into the bow is not a real issue but can also see the value of a step there
thanks again
