Im getting water in fuel on the X2 from Surfing port side ( port side filler cap c/w breather ) Any suggestions to stop this.

Currently im running racing tape over the cap to stop it...any better fixes, besides relocating filler ?

Cheers

Add a water trap in the fuel line! Glad I surf the starboard side. Sorry!

Might as well get some rollerblades and take up boogie boarding.

Hey shredstixxwa, you metion the race tape you used, a couple of questions as I have the same concerns with my X2 as we mainly surf port side once we get into it
did the race tape stop the water getting in
did you completely cover the fuel cap
is there a concern with stopping the fuel cap breathing

cheers

So far its stopped the h2o bleeding into the fuel, we cover the whole area with 3 layers or so, dusnt seen to hav any adverse effects.
