This past January I went on a winter getaway to the Turks and Caicos. And one day laying on the beach a beach vendor tried getting us to go para-sailing. I passed on it, but he gave me a brochure. I browsed through it, and guess what caught my eye? Yup, you could go out wakeboarding/surfing behind a Mastercraft X-star or a CSX. That was an opportunity that was hard to pass on it. So we booked it.

They have a 2007 X-star with 1250 hours on it. Being in the salty ocean, you could tell the salt takes it's toll on the boats, especially the vinyl. We spent a couple hours out enjoying ourselves. It was sure memorable. We got a couple newbies out surfing for the first time. The guys that drove the boat with us were really friendly. Couple young guys, one from Canada and the other from the U.K.

There's even a friendly dolphin in the cove they took us to that was swimming alongside the boat.
