That would be a demonstration of one of the many reasons I will never again have an outboard or I/O. It could happen with an Inboard but you'd have to work at it pretty hard.

Now I just have to start the rumor that he did it wakesurfing behind his I/O. ;);););)

They should include this picture when chapparell or cobalt try to market I/Os as wakeboard boats (I know it probably wasn't done wakesurfing... Nonetheless, it'd be funny)

Looks like it could have been a 13 pitch prop to leave marks so close together?

Unfortunatly, I have seen this type of injury before and helped out until the paramedics arrived. In this case it happened to an 17 year old boy who fell out of an open bow I/O and was ran over. Six or seven lacerations simular to the photo, but on inside of thigh. Starting just above the knee and last one was within a half inch of you know what. I understand he recovered fine.

I'm not saying that I would wish this on anybody, okay maybe a couple people, but still...you go mach 3 in a bass boat things can happen. You take a risk, and it can bite you in the ars, or in the back in this case. I do feel for the guy, but what do you expect? Not that I know this was a bass boat, or if he was driving, or anything else about what happened, but fact remains if you do something stupid it may come back on you.

Really Flip? That seems a little excessive to me.

Wait a minute, I think I know who you're refering to. Nevermind my first sentence. As you were.
