I was wondering is there anything special about the oil pan on my 1989 prostar 190 (351W).Mine has alot of rust with some serious pitting, the marine pans i have found are $300+,while there are tons of rear sump pans on ebay for $50 some are even chrome .I'm tempted to take a gamble and buy one for my upcoming rebuild ,but i thought maybe someone here knew if there were any windage trays or other differences between truck/marine pans.

i answered my own question by uncovering the boat and actually getting down to see the oil pan,and it turns out to be a center sump setup.I guess i had never looked at the aft end of the pan and assumed it was a rear sump,it actually has a hump in the center. So i guess im on the hook for a $300 oil pan.
