Anybody know what size sub on a 2003 205V that has the factory hole cut out for the sub on the drivers footrest area? Know how to get a speaker wire from head unit to it?

Probably 10" free air sub, and my speaker wires run around the bow area.

I will probally be mistaken, but I had thought JL only made a 10" marine sub.

I just ordered one, so I hope it's not a 12" hole.

for what its worth, the factory sub cutout on the drivers side of an 2005 197 was for a 10" infinite baffle JL sub. There was/is also a tube that runs just under the cooler walkthru between the driver and the observer storage for which to run some wires... Maybe the 205v has this as well? it's obscure on the 197 and takes some work to find it.

ric nailed it. there's a very small channel in the observer storage area. it's about a foot in, right where the floor and walkway wall meet. you'll likely have to pull the carpet up to find it. it's not very big, so you'll likely only get a pair or two of wires through there. i ended up running all my RCA's around the bow for my EQ, but you should easily be able to fisch a pair of wires for the sub.

also, its a good idea to not run power and ground wires next to, or bundled with, speaker or rca leads, or you'll most likely hear an rpm hiss over your speakers when the engine is running

This is correct.
