I have access to a EFI Chevy 350 (TPI from a mid 80's Camaro) would it be possible to convert this motor to work in my boat? I have the ECM, but How do I get around the O2 sensors? Is there an adapter to bolt up a chevy block to my powerslot transmission?

Your access means its cheap right?

I am thinking by the time you chase down everything needed to repower with the 350...

You could rebuild a really nice Ford for less $$$

can you buy later model exhaust manifolds with the o2 provisions? the ecm will run in open loop with out the o2's and guess to the amount of fuel/spark needed. a TPI guy could tune it for you I would think

By "have access to" means "my dad has it setting in a 88 S10 crew cab that he's never going to use, so I'd convince him to give it to me rather than spend a grand rebuilding my engine."

I highly doubt that since I'm trying to save $$ I'm going to want to purchase a set of ETX Cat manifolds, which I don't even know if they bolt up and work.

It's pretty tired, and getting a lot of blowby. She smokes a good bit and burns some oil. Still running, but it's only time.
