We took a drive today.
We always have a great time there.
Rained most of the day so the pics the clearest.

And jump again!
Sorry about the Malibu stuff but they host the show.
There is a MC dealer on this lake with two locations but I guess they are not in the fold.
This Malibu guy sponsors it every year???

Guy I used to work with had a home in Buffalo, IN......about 3-4 miles up the lake / river. We took his boat out one night and watched the show from the water. They were bat turning the bejeezus out of those boats. The skiers have some serious talent.

I pity the next guy in line to buy one of those used boats........

Cool pics, Steve. Would be interesting to hear the Sky Ski rider's or the show owner's name. We've had show owners & promotors come recruiting at the various fly-ins that we hold around the country. More than a few times, some young guy with an ounce of talent & balls that clank has had a job interview on the houseboats & left the event with big plans to ski the world. :toast:

Water Ski Shows Inc. had this show for the longest time. I am not sure if they still do. I have some friends who have skied there. It is a small show but they claim that the little town partys pretty well.

Aaaah, Gary Thompson.... met him at the TN Flyin a couple years ago. I believe Ryan Stenderup signed that year & rode till just recently in several of WSSI's shows in Indiana, New Jersey & China.
If I recall correctly, Gary drove a bright yellow X-Star that year too.

Guys, I don't remember his name but we did talk for a few. He said that he travels all over the place. Matter of fact he has me interested in trying a chair but Mrs. thinks I'm nuts!
I'll find out next time we go. It's only 1.5 hr drive for us and my brother has a place on Lake Freeman. We usually go a cpl times a season.
We really like the old fashioned atmosphere.
And yes, they do beat the s**t out of those boats!
