and probably not much will change this year... they've reduced the restrictor plates again this year at Dega to bunch them up which will cause the big one again and they'll just run around nose to tail for many laps because they don't have enough power to pass again and Jimmy Johnson will win the championship again for the 6th straight year

On top of all that, I just can't get past all the cars being identical. I understand the need for safety, but nobody watched IROC because of that. Add that to their "efforts" to keep the big guys from owning the sport, turning it into just a few owners. Did I mention the similarity to pro wrestling? I was a big fan.....I even worked as a sales rep for a company with a full sponsorship......but its just not the same anymore. Oh well, more time to spend with the boat.

No interest in NASCAR whatsoever.. Its broken. :( Let me make a guess: Jimmy Johnson will win.

I wonder if this paint scheme will make Dale Jr. any faster?

Jr is more worried about having a good time and will continue riding the wave of fame that he inherited from his father. As long as he sells tickets he will never need to worry about having a full-time ride.

Same here, just can't make myself sit and watch a NASCAR race. Ever since we went to see Top Fuel at Charollete, there's nothing like it. I don't care who wins, just love the technology and the horse power. Going again in April.

The only thing that will make Jr fast is if they get Chad Knaus as his crew chief.

I have spring bristol tickets that we are not going to be able to use this spring. Great seats, low in turn 1. You can see the entire track and you are right at the end of pit road to see the race off. Bummer we can not go this spring. PM me if anyone is interested. It would be nice to see them go to a TTer.

Here is my list of racing from most boring to least boring (of ones I have been to)

1. Indy 500 - Unbearable to watch
2. Nascar - maybe it was due to being at Atlanta, I could see a short track being more fun
3. Local late models - these guys actually work on their cars
4. CORR Offroad - lots of different divisions/types, something new all day
5. NHRA - hands down the best, makes your eyes blurry it's so loud!

A lot of fans don't like the 4 wide racing, but I just go for the horse power. My wife loves it too so it's all good.:)
