Hi there
Thanks for the advice , done a bit more research off the back of this , now found a similar product called Cargobuckle , but as it does not have any mention of marine so it is about half the price .
thanks again

Might work, but the non stainless versions look like crap after a season. If you have the means, go for stainless...

do you have to worry about the straps rubbing/discoloring/scratching the gel coat?
This thread reminded me that neither of my mc's came with transom/stern straps. And yet, every fishing boat i see on the road has these... . .

Why is that? The owners manual says tie it down but there are no hooks on the back of the trailer. Hum...

I have the BoatBuckle system on x45 & x55. They work well, just need to be greased in the summarization process. This year I added one for the bow.

Got any photos of the bow install?

Not yet, as the boat is still at the dealership. Still waiting for the snow to melt & the ice to thaw off the lake before I bring her home. But the shop is loaded with all sorts of parts to put on/add when she gets here . I'll made sure I post pics of the projects as I start on them.

I just had some brackets made and welded to my prop guard that extend about 6" and the straps never touch the gel. I love the system. I will try to get pictures and post.
