OK, for those of us that have been around Team Talk for a few years we have continually seen the postings and rantings of this JimN character. The problem is he won't tell us who he is. He helps everyone, has some intelligent contributions to threads and makes some jokes now and again. As smart as he is, he slips up now and again. Let's see how much we actually know about JimN.
Name: JimN
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Occupation: Former MC Technician
Vehicle: Chevy Truck with 100K-200K miles
Family: Cousin has a MC out in Cali

Come on what else here...?

Movie Buff

Coulda spent more time in spelling class

Coulda spent more time in science class: "I also heard that wind comes from trees waving their branches."

Slogan: ""Beat me, whip me, make me write bad checks!"

B-day is April 15th, or is that a joke for "tax day" here in the States???

I couldn't find a listing for Jim N or James N in Milwaukee, WI. Could it be a suburb???

I do know one thing... JimN gives very sound advice! :headbang:

I suspect a history/economics major. Public university edjumacated. Otherwise, he'd be a liberal. :D

Definite Republican! Bush all the way with no hand out politics.

I am going to guess that he is also a hunting enthusiast with a nice gun collection.

I only see one MC dealer around there. Feels like I'm cheating to call them and ask......

Took away the phone numbers just in case

He can discuss a very broad range of subjects easily, very smart and definitely the most thanked person on the board. Did search on JimN and majority of what you see is "thanks JimN"

JimN

Don't call them. Period.

I also determined that JimN is an audiophile.
He has a tremendous knowledge of audio systems and electronics.

Let's all vote for JimN as president ! He always has the right answer and he can spell better than Dan Quayle.

1. Loves the movie Used Cars.
2. Likes the Alpine Valley concert venue. Doesn't like The Dead, but I suspect he likes Grateful Dead.

By the way, I have his email address, and NO, I'm not telling.

Stevo, about once a year, we go on this quest to discover who the 'real JimN' really is. Other than what state he lives in, I don't think we've ever got close, but the guessing is fun...:twocents:

JimN's countless contributions to this forum are appreciated by all.

We're all friends here..(I hope)

Gotcha, it just seemed like he was getting a bit irritated. Some people like to keep certain things private. Maybe I read it wrong. I think that he would make a very good politician if he is not involved already. Definately been around the block a few times.

Doug,

I also have the person known as JimN's email address. For a small donation to the "Baby Brian" scholarship fund I will hook you up! ;)

Just kidding JimN.

Ever drag a log through the water with a rope? That.

I tore up both shoulders and at this point, I'm not sure I want to risk it with a boat that has a good hole shot.

I hear ya. I'm pretty busted up myself. Carry 55+ pounds around on your back for the better part of your adult life and it wears on you. I still ski but I do it wrapped up so it's not too tough on my body.

Wow! Great to see so many familiar screen names. I actually traded some electrons with Eastie yesterday.

We are all good. I'm on the cusp of getting ready to pull the PS 205 out of storage and prep it for the new year. Though, as I told Eastie, having a 12 y/o in love with travel baseball puts a crimp on time out on the water. Nevertheless, we are all happy and healthy.

Still waiting on my MP5 Brian. ;)

I believe the last Congress passed some new legislation prohibiting the transfer, sale, or equipping of any new grandparents with an MP-5 submachine gun as a safety precaution. I had the thing all boxed up and ready to go and then Congress let all the air out of the balloon. So sorry, Steve! 8p

I'll just have to stick with my M4A1 then.

That thing will leave a mark, and he doesn't even use rubber bands in it. They guy knows what he's doing.

Also, some say that he knows two facts about ducks and both of them are wrong.

It holds 12 rubber bands. I bought it at an event called "Toys For Adults", which we referred to as 'Toys For Dolts' because it was filled with all kinds of gadget for people who appreciate this kind of thing.

And we do.

So, like I said Steve, you're going to get a fine piece of equipment. Now, you'll need to go through a brief safety class to ensure you don't get any snap-back when loading.
