Thanks for the comments.. He loved it. In fact he woke up today asking if we could go skiing? What have I created? The edgie wedgie is a great tool, he used for all of 2 short runs then wanted it off. it's hard to see in the small last photo but he is "edgie wedgie" free!!!

That's great. I just picked up skis yesterday for my 2 1/2 year old.

What size skis did you start him off on?

Thanks,

Jon

I believe that they were 77 cm. the next step up was 90 cm. Boot size 15.5, his sneakers are a toddler 7-9. I high recommend a from buckle boot rather than a rear entry. More support in the front buckle and and tends to put them in a better stance (forward).

Awesome, Covi!

We are taking our kids skiing for the first time the first week of Feb. Looking forward to it! Hopefully the kids (2.5 and 4) will enjoy it as much my wife and I do!

Good luck! You'll have a blast with them. Try not to set the bar to high.....They'll get it!

Way to go, little man!
Now tell your Dad to throw ya a ski rope and have him tie the rope around his waist, while you hold the handle :)

Third time out today. Ever since the first day he's wanted to ride the lift. So today "we ride". I'm so stoked!!!

My wife and son at Cochran Ski Are this week. He's hooked. Here they are eyeing up the mighty mite, and conquering it! Proud Daddy...

Awesome and congrats Covi.

Next priority is for you to invest in a helmet.

Won't be long before he's off to the races and then it's daddy watch this.

92 190, I know, I know helmet will be for next year. Remember when we learned to ski? We were lucky to have hats on. I still only wear my bucket when i'm in a course. Bad roll model I guess.
