I used to ski with a ski with a 15" slalom barefoot handle and loved it - i know the largest slalom ski handle is 13"? I'm not a wake boarder but it looks like they use 15" handles, has any one used a wake board handle for slalom skiing? This would be on open water not for the coarse.

Check this (http://www.masterlineusa.com/Masterline/Barefoot-Series/BH15WS) out. I can't get a handle width, but it looks huge. Of course, I use a 12" small diameter handle. So they all look big to me. :o

Got small hands or something? Just asking why a small handle w/ sm. diameter?

US Gear:

Made in the USA.

Bought both ski and wakeboard handles from them.

15" handle opening is quite big and,in my mind, borderline to being dangerous.
You could catch and arm or even worse, your neck or head in a bad fall.
Just sayin...
Maybe if you would put an Arm-Guard or something similar it would be safer.
Or get use to a regular 13" handle!:)

I hold the hanle in my fingers. 13 feels too wide to me for some reason.

I gotta say, the size of the handle is the least of my problems skiing.

I would worry about the danger of getting my head caught in the larger handle.

We used to do some footin and tumbleing off the boom with the handle so and we just started messing around with the large 15" handle and going short line with it on open water - trying to dunk the shoulder stuff... when you reached out for the handle there was always something to grab on to
My regular handle is a 13" contour.

Zepdog, you could hold the record for "Newbie" status w/ a join date of 8-04 and only 23 posts.

I also use a 13 eliptical and feels really strange to use a straight handle and surprising how many "missed or partial grabs" I get when I use a 12 in. handle.

Earlier point about larger hole and potential for injury is legit, but wonder how much larger it really is? Aslo, wonder why more mfg. of handles are not goung to the guard and is it an aftermarket option that can be added or is it just the way you buy one particular brand and what one would that be?

I think your post counter is stuck. Last two posts show 24. Maybe bang on your computer a little. Is your hour meter stuck too? lol
