For ETS and Tricky. :D

Put on your panties and strap on a kilt, in no particular order. Bagpipes are encouraged.

How do you like your scotch? I prefer my single malts straight up, no ice or mixer. I prefer my Johnny Walker with ice cubes and soda water, in a 1 to 1 ratio. I prefer my Cutty straight from the bottle with a Coors Light chaser.

What is your brand?

I'm a beer snob. If there's no good beer, I'll go for the Scotch.

My dad drank Cutty and water on the rocks. He'd also toss a small bit of lemon in for good measure or rim the glass with it. It's extremely refreshing and is my preference if there's no good beer on hand.

I'll also do single malt with a small dose of good filtered water to open it up. Push it through your teeth as you taste.

If I was a "Scot" I would say "free!"

I too prefer whiskey. Crown to be exact. I drink it straight on the rocks, or w/ coke or even ginger ale.
If I do drink scotch, its w/ ice.

I do enjoy Crown, but my standard whisky is Early Times either straight up, on the rocks, or with Fresca. Love the citrus and don't need to add fruit.

I do not believe I have ever drank Early Times. I have to try it some time.

I'm Scottish but my father in law turned me on to Scotch, on the rocks. I'm kind of cheap so usually have Cuddy around the house but I really like Aberlours 10 year single.

My favorite and pretty much the only one I drink is Glenmorangie with the Port Wood Finish.

I have a little bit of the Glenmorangie (not the port wood) left. Definitely tasty.

Much smoother than Jack. Considerably cheaper though that isn't what got me started drinking it.

Shepherd, sounds like you will need to start a whisky and a beer poll next.

Good point. I should have included splash of water in the "with ice" category.

I do NOT do Jack. Too harsh for me. I must get some Early Times and try it.
Crown is pretty easy to break the bank too. lol

The local liquor store 6 blocks from my house that I have patronizing for years quit carrying ET. They had been about $20 for a 1.75. Found another local liquor establishment that sells it for $15.99. I may have to ask about a case price.............maybe not.

I just got some Oban. It is good! Johnny Walker black is a reasonable go to for most days. Usually with a little ice and see how the flavor changes as it melts.
