I have heard that power washing your hull is a bad idea but I have a new boat with some flakable "white" & "hard" water stains from leaving it in the river that I need to eliminate. Any ideas will be paid handsomly in free virtual beverage.
Thanks....

I think my boat sits in the hardest water around. We spray the boat with vinegar and wipe it down as soon as we take it out of the lake. B

I agree with the vinegar.
Betsy, does it hurt when you fall on that hard water?

If you have the bubble lettering, which I think you do, don't use the pressure washer.
It is not good.

What about on just the base hull only? not the stripes on the side?
Thanks,
Steve

I vote no, keep the pressure washer off the boat.

If you have one of the smaller ones that don't produce the higher PSI I don't see why it would hurt as long as you were careful.
And...a good coat of wax afterward.

You are a nut! Just use the spray bottle with vinegar. Cheap and easy and in the long run it will save you $$$ on your boat. B
