Hi all,

Just picked up an 07 x-2, but i haven't had a chance to ride behind it just yet (conditions are rubbish here for riding at present).

My question is, i'm an average wakeboarder, basic inverts etc, so how do you find the stock ballast systems in these boats. I mean with ballast full, and i still going to need to load it with sacks ?

Eventually i will add the fly high kit, but i just want to get an idea of what to expect.

thanks

Welcome to the madness. Speaking from my experience your first stop should be to buy the extra fly-high sacs The added ramp, stiffness and pop is worth every penny (or whatever currency you are under)

Talk to the guys at Wakemakers.com I have been buying lots of stuff from them and they are great.

you'll need the extra bags, and people. best with 6+ people, stock and extra sacs. wake is pretty good then, stiff and poppy. Normally we would run the X2 locker sacs (400 each) and a top one in the walkway.

weight the front first then move back. Depending on how big you want the X2 wake. We typically fill stock ballast, put a 750lbs sac in the bow. But you can always go bigger!

Totally agree with this....start up front and keep going! The wake is really unimpressive without lots of weight, but I think it is very solid with 1500+ lbs in the right spots.
