Stupid question, but what is the storage container that is directly in front of the pylon on a X7/197? I put the plug in, and put all of my cleaning supplies in it the first day thinking it was brilliant.

Anyway, it seems like it is yet another cooler that also is a drain through from the other areas in front.

The guy at the factory said it's not necessarily a cooler because it has no insulation but to be honest, that is what we used it for in my '00 190
now with the 197, the walkthru has an actual insulated ice chest and that floor box is still there so we use it for trash
oh well, put wet gloves and such in it if you like but I guess the upper ice chest drains into it??

MC told me that it was the ice chest in the 190 and they left it in on the 197. Both boxes don't keep ice for too long. I use mine for trash or secret beer stash!

I use it as an anchor box. Works great for that. Would stink as a cooler.

I use it for the suntan lotion, first aid kit, etc. It is actually designed to be a cooler and is promoted that way, but it doesn't stay cold for long, just like the floor compartment.

I fill mine with ice, wine, beer, and subways.
And hit the lake.
