I remember that this was the annoucement. I've sent email and left two voice mail messages, but no more information. Anyone up to put together their own that weekend? I'd be up for getting folks together at New Melones (Angles Camp) in the Glory Hole camping area.

West Coast Reunion
July 28-30, 2005 --- (Please register by May 28th)
Location TBA
**Notes: For registration and information, call 800-532-0101. If representatives are busy, please leave a message and we will get back to you ASAP
I got an email from TMC a couple of weeks ago regarding the West Coast reunion. They are looking to have it around Sept. 9th. Don't know where yet.
As for the get together thing. A bunch of us NorCal people are getting together the weekend of July 30th & 31st at Lake Don Pedro. Meeting at Moccassin Point. You can read more info on it in the "Don Pedro get Together" thread. If you are free that weekend join us. I think there will be 5-10 boats coming. Should be lots of fun! :)

Why is it that us westcoasters are left out of these reunions? What our MC's aren't good enough!! Just blowing smoke, I do think there should be a west coast reunion too. Are you listening TMC??

how 'bout a "north-west" coast reunion....California is a long tug from here....Seattle is only 12 hours or so,....that's do-able even on a "box-stock weekend" if there's a bunch ot TMC folks at the end of the road.

I guess that TMC has been too busy reprimanding people on this board to at least call, email or P.M. people back that have asked about the West Coast Reunion.
It must also be hard having California as one of the biggest inboard markets in the world according to what the president, John Dorton said at the last West Coast Reunion two years ago. But with no reunion last year and it looks like we are going for another year of no reunion, what gives.
All of the other manufactures in the area of this major inboard market are having their reunions. They are able to get together and figure something out. So MASTERCRAFT what is your deal? I see that you have reunions around the rest of the country with the big one being around the Mastercraft plant. Which is very understandable but what about one of your biggest markets that you claim to have, California. I believe that a lot of people would be happy to participate and probably even help out if asked. But sometimes it starts with you asking for that help.
So with that being said, I really like and enjoy the product just not always happy with the people making the decisions.
I know that it is probably a pain putting one of these events on, and probably even harder when it is a water event. But as we approach a second reunion-less year, which is quickly passing us by, I do believe that even an event just at Marine World or even Great America would work for most of us. Then you could try a water event in the future.

I sent a message regarding the reunion to TMC in March. It still hasn't been read. Then I tried the new "Contact Mastercraft" box on the Team Talk home page. No response there either. I think TMC wears many hats, so he's probably very busy, but it's frustrating when you can't even get a response in six months.

I have been wondering that as well. Really disappointing if we go another year without a West Coast Reunion.
I have called both of the MasterCraft dealers in NorCal to see if I could get some info. I got nothing from either. Maybe the problem is with them not wanting to sponsor one?

I'll add my disappointment into the ring.
How about we split the different between the Northwest and California and have it somewhere in southern Oregon?

Here is the last email I recieved from Mastercraft(recieved 9/27/04)reguarding the 2004 cancellation and I have wrote to them numerous times with no results.Maybe if we all write to them, maybe just maybe we'll get some answers.

Robert Perry,
...I apologize for the inconvenience, but the West Coast Reunion has been rescheduled for a future date in the late spring or early summer of 2005. We have had low pre-registration for the 2004 reunion and are planning on having a much bigger and better event in 2005. If you have any suggestions on how we might make the 2005 West Coast Reunion better, feel free to send those to me via email. Further information regarding the rescheduled West Coast Reunion will be posted in the "owners" section at www. mastercraft.com. If you need further information, please feel free to contact me. Once again, I apologize for any inconvenience.....
Sincerely,
Mike Bell

This is what i got from TMC a couple of days ago. I am just glad to know that TMC really exist i was starting to wonder there for awhile.
"Hey Ryan:
I will tell you what I told X2Momma. I know there have been a lot of questions about the WCR. Technically that is not my area; that is up to the Team MasterCraft manager, Chris. However, I do know that it has been a struggle to get something going. We have made about 3 attempts with something backing out last minute every time. We are now trying one more route and should have something up for you soon. It looks like it may be the first of the year but it will be cool nonetheless! Stay tuned again...

Pardon my pessimism
First of the year sounds greaaaaat... [insert sarcasm] I'll bring my coat and wool socks. Likely to have smooth water with few crouds though. But, I bet the owner turn out would be smaller in cooler weather too.

At least we will be having one. Not to excited about having to bundle up to go though. I would think that it would be an event that is not on the water. Being held the first of the year it will probably be raining. Marine World again?
Have they done reunions with no on-water time??

They haven't had a reunion for two years. If MC is going to start holding them again, they might as well wait for spring when the weather is better. If they do hold one after the first of the year, I don't think it will be at Marine World. I'm fairly sure they are closed in the winter.

We joined TMC in 2001 and they held the reunion at Great American which was alot of fun. They reserved the rear parking lot and a
picnic area inside the park for us.It was well organized, the food was great and the raffle prizes were fantastic the people were all
in one area which made meeting other members easy.Don't forget (hint hint TMC) that all of this was included in your yearly membership
fees. The next year it was at Marine World it was similar to Great America but not as good. Then in 2003 they finally had it on the water
well sorta.Held at Orwood Resort on the Delta and we had a great time and met alot of new members,it did have its good and bad points though.
The good was they had a nice area to park our rigs and a private picnic area for us,but the hightlight of the day was the food was catered by Back Forty Texas BBQ.
As for the downside they had a poker run and scavenger hunt(which was alot of fun) but it was more like a poker and go into the marina
store and buy the the scavenger item and then you'll get your poker card run.The other downside was there was'nt an area larger enough for
everyone to park there boats in the water. Then 2004,what can I say it was cancelled a week prior to the reunion(we found out the weekend
before when we were at Orwood and even the owners of Orwood were'nt to sure if it was on or off). thanks TMC.Our suggestion would be to
hold the reunion at a lake(Berryessa for example Spanish Flats)where there's a large enough picnic area so members can mingle together.
We sent this email to TMC last year because they asked us it we had any ideas for the next TMC reunion, they never replyed back. We've emailed them
and phoned them(voice mail everytime) and so have some of our other friends with no response..Get it together West Coast TMC....please.
After reading the email they sent to Ryan and X2momma it seems the problem is some person named "Something" because I see something
is mentioned three times.{Struggle to get"something"going} {"something"backing out the last minute} {should have "something"up for you soon}
Remember the more members that either write or call TMC reguarding the reunion will show TMC ......something....
Thanks,Bob

Well don't ask why I was looking (more to see what the other guys have for a memebers forum), but here is what Correct Craft did this year:

Geeze, one would think our market should pull something together. Well it's almost winter and dont' think the wife and kids would want an on water event this time of year. Maybe next year :-(

seems like the West Coast is going to let this die. Guess that's why TMC keeps cancelling it ;0

Let's go on strike!!!!! The West Coast is boycoting MC!!!! Let's start a petition!!! :headbang:
I don't blame MC for all of it. I think most of blame is on the dealers. They are the ones that seem to be dropping the ball for the last 2 years by not getting a reunion together. :twocents:
