View Full Version : Should I panic? (winterization question)

My truck was in an accident a couple of weeks ago and in fighting with the at-fault driver's insurance, it's still in the shop. Scary thing is...all of the sudden a cold snap is hitting the South and my winterization is not done. High today is 45 and it's supposed to get into the low 20s tonight. The boat's kept in an enclosed storage unit, but the bad news is I can't get my key out until tomorrow. Should I be freaking or is that not enough cold to cause damage? (btw...2005 X10)

Thanks

Personally I wouldn't be worried. Should be fine. Ill bet if you had a temp gauge in the storage unit it the temp would read well above freezing. Check it out.

The temp needs to get below freezing for an extended time before anything bad will happen. Its not like the needle hits 28 and your motor cracks
