LED lights placed in cooler

I was reading the .pdf file from Owl Lighting and they have directions to place the led lights in the ice cooler. My question is what do you do when you need to pull it out to dump the ice/water? Seems wires are going to get in the way.

I think they are refering to the in floor cooler in the 197, X7, 209, and X9. Not the removeable coolers in the X30 and X45
