hi im new to the forum i own a 91 tristar 190 with a 351 in it. i am currious if it woudl be possible to replace the 351 with a chevy 454, any help would be apreciated. thanks

Yes, certainly possible because some of the Barefoot Tristar's (as well as ProStars) came with the BB ... but why go to the extra work?
You have to change motor mounts, wiring, fuel lines, etc. etc.
With a bit of work to a stock 351W -- GT40p heads, Performer manifold, cam -- you can get nearly the HP of the Chevy bigblock. IIRC, standard 454 was 330hp and 454HO was 375 (or thereabouts.)
If you REALLY want a Tristar with the BB look for the Barefoot version -- they pop up for sale every so often.
