Hi All

I have a 1993 Prostar 190 with a velvet drive 1.1.
Is the any requirement for the type of Dextron oil to be used i.e type 1 2 or 3.

Thanks

Kevin

Type III if you have a Liberty series (pdf page 5).

My '04 zf hurth requires a Dex II, but don't think you can pick up any more. I get a Valvoline Dex/Mercon that covers all variances. If you go to the Mastercraft main site and click on knowledge center there is a tab for owner's manuals you can check. I think yours also requires the same.

They are now up to Dextron VI. Mine calls for Dextron II. If you read the label... it should say: "Can be used where Dextron I, II, III, IV, V, or VI are called for." Something like that. I put Mobil synthetic transmission fluid.
