Has anyone put Samco hoses on their motor? Or does anyone know where I can get red hoses, I want them to match the powder coated heads.

Thanks

Thanks for the info! Are you using this hose for all the water hoses, or...?

Evantually i will replace all the water hoses with silicone. I like the clean look, it bends to make a radius with less muscle, it deals with hi/and low temps better than rubber, it is wire reinforced, and u can color coordinate! haha
...But for now just the hose on the front of the motor from the raw water pump to the t-stat housing, and the 2 that go to the exhaust manifolds from the t-stat.

I agree, I like the clean look as well. I think it's a simple way to dress up the motor.

Thanks for your feedback.

I have been meaning to reply about this for months...

If you use silicone hoses you may want to consider using lined hose clamps...

Its not that much more and helps save the hose... (example:)http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productselection3.asp?Product=3613

Been using them for years on my racecars.

Coulored silicone hoses would be cool, thanks for the tip! I prefer a transparent/clear hose from raw water pump, then I see imideately if the pump is pumping water or not when I start the engine.
