Are the guide poles on an the easy tow supposed to contact with the hull side ( down the bottom ) ?
The originals went missing in transport so the dealer sourced another set, they rub on the hull and cant be removed or fitted whilst boat is on trailer.

They have a rubber covering, but I really wanted to be able to remove them for storage.

Not sure what you mean ......easy tow, but no, the guide poles should not be in contact with the boat if the boat's centered on the trailer. How would you drive the boat on and off the trailer with zero clearance??

Easy Tow is an Australian trailer company. The guide poles should be removable, by undoing a bolt/grub screw under the guard. You may also be able to adjust the width, by turning the bend in the pole further from the hull, (the transporters, might have closed them in tight.), or just take them out and have more bend put in them.
