Hi Guys,

I am wondering if anyone has an x15 that they have performed some ballast upgrades on so you can go wake surfing a little better.

I have been looking at the Fly High Pro X Series Fat Brick and others, but I wanted to know what others have done.

Also if you have done this have to added additional pumps to the system for the additional bags.

I know I can add an additional Jabsco Metal Ballast Puppy Pump to fill those bags which is what I would more than likely do. Or are people going the Tsunami Pump instead.

Pictures and feedback welcome.

Regardless of the make or model of boat, you basically have three options for adding ballast in addition to what came from the factory:

1. Fill and drain it manually with a portable pump (like the Tsunami from Fly High). Cheap, flexible and easy, but not as convenient.

2. Install a new dedicated system using your choice of pump (flexible vane impeller or aerator) to control the additional ballast. Convenient and flexible, but more expensive and more work to install.

3. Integrated the additional ballast with your factory system. This isn't possible with every boat, but we offer our Piggyback or Tankbuster kits for every Mastercraft v-drive boat. This is similar to Roonie's setup, and allows you to simply expand the capacity of your factory system. This is convenient, easy to install, and affordable, so this makes the most sense for a lot of people.
