Got up this morning went down to the water and took a picture of it since it was so nice. Went to the garage and realized my two week old Hyperlite wakeboard and my Jet Pilot vest were gone and the back entrance to the garage was open.
Nice day gone bad......
SO here I sit, waiting for the Sherrif to arrive so I can file a police report.
...........and ooh yeah did I mention...I'm so pi$$ed I could spit nails?
Hope your day is going better than mine....

Sorry to hear that man....keep an eye out on the lake!
Makes me wonder if I should start locking up my stuff. Always have that, "not on my lake" attitude.

Maristar210,
Sorry to hear about your situation. These things really make you feel violated. A few weeks ago, I had my MC X9 parked in the driveway ready to take it out for the weekend. I got up and went outside to prep the boat to go, when I noticed that all my tires on both my Suburban and My Dodge Ram were sliced. Needless to say, we didn't get the boat out that weekend and it ended up costing me over a $1000 for eight new tires. Good news was that they left the mastercraft alone.

Yes I did. It was locked when I went to bed and open this morning. The deputy said this is the first problem he had seen in our small neighborhood. In an are of nice homes I guess we may look like prey to some. We'll see what happens but I do not expect resolution on something like this.
I think I'll pop a beer and drown my sorrows a bit.

That was interesting. I have $500 dirt bike helmets, gear, dirt bikes, mini bikes and all related stuff. They took only the vest and the board.

That is all I need is another excuse to drink! That is the worst feeling ever. I know they can be replaced but it stinks none the less. I had a similar situation and after the deductible I was left paying full boat. What you give you get ten times in return and I hope that also applies to what is stolen from you. Pigs, I hope your board was defective and they find themselves railing off a Dam! Nothing left but a nice vest, a splintered board and a grease spot! :noface:I just put a Jihad on them!

Get a rope!!!!!
in the words of the not-so-immortal Vincent Vega "It would almost be worth getting my car keyed just to catch the guy keying my car".
Jihad would be letting them off easy.

Speaking of Motocross? (passed up bikes and helmets) Have a bunch of XR's (400, 100, 80 and a Katoom MXC 300). Hardly any time to ride the dirt but also have a Valkyrie Tourer I ride often. I do get to go to a couple Supercross events every year. That's some cold sheet JS :purplaugh

Sorry to hear it Steve.
It's a shame that some people can't earn their own things.
I wish whoever took that board many face plants and very severe falls!!!

I have posted before about the Indy and St Louis Supercross. A friend on mine gets me and the kids in to work the track crew. We clean up after and get all access passes during the race. I will admit it is a very cool time.I have gone to the INDY Supercross the last two years. Good to hear another MX nut is out there in boaterland.

I just learned my homeowners insurance has a $1000 deductible. My boat insurance has a $500 deductible. It was stolen from my home so I have shelled out the bucks for a replacement. Good thing I have all that insurance coverage, huh ? PO-ed

Sorry to hear about your problems. Thanks for the pics. We get out on the Grand Rapids area rivers & lakes regularly and I will keep an eye out. (And I guess I better keep my garage locked!)

Someone sliced the front of my cover open and stole the Clarion marine speakers out of the open bow of my 2003 X7 ... what was loosening the cover too much work?! Talk about the laziest thiefs ever. If they bothered to take of the cover they could have taken some wakeboards, vests, ropes, digital underwater camera, etc. Oh well, could have been worse.

My maristar 210 was broken into last september. The thieves:
1- slashed the brand new cover
2- in the proces of slashing the cover cut the large aft sunpad and the back of the large wrap-around seat.
3- turned the interior lights on so they could see what they were doing
4- removed 2 of the clarion speakers, damaged a third
5- pryed out the stereo
6- after they pryed out the stereo saw the Perfect Pass black box and took that too!
7- cut the seat bottom of the driver's chair
This happened the thursday before Labor day weekend. Took the boat to the local MC dealer and they fixed all but the cut upholstry by friday afternoon and saved the weekend. Took the service manager a very nice bottle of wine in thanks.
Insurance thru Progressive, cost me the $1K deductable. Break-Out-Another-Thou, right?
