So I'm refurbishing parts of my boat. I wanted to clean and refinish the throttle assembly cover. It's pretty beat up and the original black paint is chipping off. Sorry no pics.

So I removed it from the cables and started to take out the internals so all I had left was the cover plate. Everything was going perfectly until I decided to push and pull the throttle lever so I could see how it worked, and "pop" some pieces went flying. Not knowing at first what came out, I heard the sounds of metal pieces hitting the garage floor. Panic sets in and a search and rescue mission ensues. I found one ball bearing and a small spring. I figured out where these 2 pieces belong but I fear that I'm missing 2 more bearings.

Can anyone confirm this? Has anyone else done this?

Is it a Morse control? The attachment may help, see the exploded diagram.
Hope this helps.
