I will ski Sat. for the final time here in Western Colorado. Has been a great season. Haven't counted the times out yet, but when I do I think it will be around 45 days on the lake. I feel good about my season.

My brother inlaw lives in Cameron Park and Folsom is his home lake...nice lake if ya get there early. As for us here in Az, there's no such thing as putting the boat away for the winter, we'll be enjoying the high 90's on Bartlett lake this weekend :D

Some guys with a slalom course on a lake near me are still on it several times a week. I haven't winterized my boat yet - I may have to head out one more time.

We are planning to go out again tonight. 2 weeks ago today I bent my prop. I am supposed to get the repaired prop back today. Weather forecast is for 85 degrees.

Looks like I'll get out on Monday for the last time to do some Footin. Forecast is 75, I bet the water is similar.

Lake is down ~50 ft compared to normal. Sucks, but it guarantees you're not sharing what water is left with anyone!

Foot all winter....as long as it's not raining. Lq-9 stays in the basement where the Gas furnace is ,nice and warm. No winterization needed. Dry suits for everyone. Wont ski Christmas Eve or day, but have skied before Thanksgiving dinner and Always on New years day! Everybody has the day off :)

Love it in the winter, Nothing but glass as far as the eye can see

I am still going out this weekend in Oklahoma, air in the 70's, water the same. I am a wimp so I'll wear a shorty but the real wimps here aren't going. Will have the boat winterized this next week. If I had a heated storage I would be an all year rounder but don't have that luxury yet.

Going boat camping out on Apache lake here in Az this weekend. But, it probably will be our last trip - I've got too many wussies in the boat who won't go in the water if it's below 80.

Mines not put away yet, however, she's still high and dry. Two weeks ago I had 29" under her as she sits on the lift and the water has gone down everyday since! I wish I could ski! I wish more to get her on the trailer without damage!

Went this past Wednesday, and will hit the river two more times next week....then things look sketchy. This Wednesday air was 68-70 and water was 59. Dry suit was almost too warm, others wore wet suits. Best riding of the year with all the wimps at home, its glass ALL day. Also there aren't any sheriffs on the river this time of year(ballast is illegal), so gave us a chance to fine tune a fully loaded fly high system on the X2. 5 people positioned correctly with 1600 lbs of fly high sacs, gives me new respect for a wake I have been previously disappointed in.

Going tomorrow morning at 9:00 AM. We'll keep going until the last week in October.

Here's a picture from last Sunday at 10:00 AM. Only needed the shortie wetsuit. Sorry for the bad picture - the BlackBerry was acting up. Weather was actually beautiful and bright blue sky.

What lake in the Seattle area are you boating on? I'm so jealous! Lake Tapps is still full but finding the boarders are tough to find this time of year:(

Went out today after work. Great evening -- calm winds, mid 60s air temp, probably low 60s water temp, no other boats nearby. There were two ultralights buzzing around overhead to boot. It's unfortunate that sundown is so early now.

You guys are right about boat traffic. This time of year we are the only one's out.Glass every where.
The only problem now is all the leaves floating in the water....:mad:tough to Skyski with alot of leaves.

We ride on Lake Washington. It's 39 degrees right now and we're getting ready to go out on the water. We'll see...

OK, back from riding. It was nice glass for a couple of hours, then the wind picked up. The water's still warm but the air was chilly and my hands got cold towards the end of my set. It's almost time for the gloves.

Skiing tomorrow in SE Wisc - air temp will be in the low - mid fifties with the water still a little warmer. Probably use the dry suit but it is such a PITA to get out of. Pulling the boats docks next weekend or the one after.

After that it is the fish / ski boat with an outboard if we sneek out in November. The MC will get winterized when we pull it out.

Skied on Wednesday after work here in Central Washington. Air temp was 65, water was about 60. I will try to get out a few more times but the nights are getting pretty chilly (33 tonight) so some of it will depend on how long the nights stay above freezing. Once they get below freezing consistently I will drain and winterize the boat. I have it in my garage, but I still don't like waking up and seeing the temp at 30.

Water was 53 degrees this past Sunday. Temp was a little cooler. Up until a week earlier, I was out in a wetsuit doing runs. Now that things are getting a little colder, I don't need to be a Hercules and show off. I'll pull out the dry suit and foot into November. Much later then that and we're dealing with ice getting the boat off the water.

As we were passing a pier, we got a fist pump from a guy taking his canopy off his Shorestation. He knew how much fun we were having. His smile was about as big as ours.

We are still going out. Went out this past Sunday without wetsuits. The water was gorgeous and the sun was out. After reading some of the post on here, it makes our 72 degree water seem hot compared to some of yall. We will probably continue to go a few times a week until mid Nov. Dont want the season to end!!

Folsom is my home lake too, we either ride there or the river year round, though its unusual for the lake's speed limit to be above 5mph this time of year. Not a boat in sight Sat, which is why I actually prefer off-season riding.

If you ever need someone to brave the cold water with you for some off season riding i would not mind knocking the dust of the board. Let me know, i can provide gas money and cleaning time.

Absolutely! Open invite to anyone local, just shoot me your cell phone number via PM. Literally everyone I ride with I met through WW or learnwake, so I am always up for meeting new people. I basically have a txt message list and just send out a note whenever I go out etc. All I ask for is gas money and reliability, LOL!!

Here's a weird picture from yesterday morning. There was a fish sticking out of a tube on my boat lift. I guess the poor guy swam in when the lift was in the water the last time I used the boat, and failed to get out when the boat was lifted.
