Anyone know when MC will update their web site to reflect the 2011 models? I was excited about getting a new MC, but I am losing my enthusiasm since my local dealer has none, no brochure is available, and more importantly I can not look at the different colors and options on Design a Boat.
I fear MC will lose much of the PR vibe it received by launching a new tower and new color schemes 2 months ago because of the lack of info on their web site.

Statements make A LOT of sense. They should've made the website a priority a LONG time ago.
i've just orderd a 2011 x45,
my dealer have access to the design a boat of the 2011 models
check with your dealer about it.

I agree. Someone explain the logic here. If the dealer's can access the 2011 design a boat, then all the programming has been done and the color schemes loaded. So why not have it available to the public? Worried about server overload?
I taught several families how to wakeboard this Summer behind my X-star. They are all now looking to get an inboard. They all loved my boat and we talked about the different models. All the families went straight to our local MC dealer. What did they find? Three used mastercrafts and no new ones.
I suspect they will end up with a SAN or a Malibu. Why, because you can drive less than an hour and physically see a new SAN or Malibu, or get online and at least see the 2011 specs/models/towers/colors. But you have to drive 3 hours to see a new MC, and even then you will only see a few models and none with the new tower and no X-25s (which I was recommending).
MC, you can not control what your dealers order, but you can certainly control potential buyer's ability to view and design your new boats online.
Nothing personal, but who is running the sales end of your operation?
How about a monthly web video highlightiong the features of every model hosted by Zane?
How about a photo gallery of every new MC that leaves the factory that people could browse
How about videos that quickly go over each feature (B.I.G., new tower, heater options, showers, etc) released monthly to generate interest.
These are inexpensive things to do. Let me know and I can send you some from my 08 X-star....

Vision is entirely correct. I am completely guessing on what my 2011 X55 color scheme is going to be. The fact of the matter is, I am not going to drop $135,000 with out seeing (within reason) what my boat is going to look like. Secondly, I'd prefer to order the boat now, so it is ready to go by the spring! If I haven't seen anything by January, I might head over to Nautique. I WANT a MasterCraft, as they are the best tow boats there are, but if MasterCraft cannot provide me with what their competition is doing, then why am I here?
Come on MasterCraft, get that Design-A-Boat up Please! Been waiting Months for it now!!!

Agreed they are missing out on some buz time and especially the chance to get consumers to engage with the brand. MC has had the best boat color/options tool in the category. They used to have the design-a-boat up by Aug. I'm surprised this season with the number of inboard mfrs have not updated their sites either.

The only thing I can think of is, the new power tower wasn't going to be available until Oct., so maybe that is what they are waiting for? My dealer order 2011's blind, but I believe they have a design a boat at the dealership......

I understand the power tower wasn't completed until last week, all the pics we've seen have been prototypes. The tower is now ready to go with speakers and bimini.

Those speakers look nice! It's hard to see the lights, at least I assume that's what they are. Can't wait to inspect these up close. We have one of the earliest boat shows in January, you and Pram should come down!
