Here's a YouTube link of my 10 year-old son wakesurfing behind our 07 X-30 on a Phase 5 Scamp:

Awesome, he'll be showing that to all of his friends. Sounds like he has a good coach.

Couple of my buddy's guests that had never been on the water before.
My daughter a few weeks ago in a far different land.

mtajpa, thanks for sharing! Your daughter looks like she's got the wakesurfing down and having fun! Here's a picture of my oldest daughter just shy of age 9. Still wired to the boat and finding the sweet spot but on the heels of her brother!

Won't be long and she will find it. Looks like you have a nice surf wake there.
Here's one of my son when we actually had some ballast (13 people) in the boat. I'm still searching for that spot I think I need a bigger board and or more ballast.

My 12 and 16 year olds behind our 2004 VRS210 at the lake a couple of weeks ago. No extra ballast (I think the gas tank was even below half) - ballast coming next year so hopefully there will be more free surfing and less line riding.

My 12 year old. She got up her first time and got off the rope her third time. Now she is making runs of fifteen to twenty minutes at a time.
For me, wakesurfing is more like old man wakeboarding.

CMack, I guess you should watch more Chase Hazen and James Walker videos then. By the way, heard Chase took delivery of his new MC X-55. Whether it was before or after his Europe Wakesurfing vacation/tour I couldn't tell you...

That is a great picture! How long are they able to surf tandem? Not sure if I've seen kids that young able to do that! Thanks for sharing -

Their runs are usually for about 5 minutes. They could go longer but they start laughing so hard at each other that they loose their concentration. They work well together and do a good job of coordinating their movements to control the board. Both of them started wake surfing last year but did not really get into it until this summer. A couple weeks ago, they wanted to try doubling up on a single board but I didn't think they'd even be able to get up. Low and behold, they dropped the rope and free surfed. It was a blast to watch.
