...just bought an '83 Superslot w/a Chrysler 440, white with blue. Was told it was purchased from Cypress Gardens when they were done with it back in the mid-80's. Has been garage kept and not used (not even started) for 15 years, has 1100 hours on it. Anybody know how many of these were made with the big-blocks compared to the standard small-blocks? Could be a while before she's sea worthy, any thoughts on what I might expect power-wise compared to the old '79 Ski Supreme w/350ci I skied behind back in the day? This boat's very solid structurally, just needs new upholstery and a few minor blemishes repaired. We'll see about the engine...probably needs to be rebuilt. Either way, this boat will be like new again someday.
